    I get that young males are mad, but it seems that the entitled ones are mad that no one’s giving them the opportunities that they never earned.  Instead of going to school or learning a skilled trade they just assume that those good jobs are just given to them instead of pulling themselves up by their bootstraps (see what I did Cons?) and go to whatever schools they can.

    Welcome to reality you entitled dipshits.

    That’s something women, non-entitled white males, immigrants and us non whites had to learn.

    Work related… I saw a young man who was well connected thru the friends and family plan quit here because he was upset that he had to you know, do actual work. When he showed up, he acted like he didn’t actually have to fucking put any effort. When I was acting team lead, I had to deal with him a few times.  When I asked what the hell he did (which was jack shit) he just blew me off and gave me serious attitude.

    Months later, he was “promoted” after working here less than a year to team leader (over pretty much every senior tech including me), we found out that this shithead was connected to several managers by family relations or friends thus word got out he was one of the “high speed low drag” folks who was going to rise up through the ranks fast.

    It took the combined yelling of an entire dept at the manager to kick the entitled shit out of the job and opened that job up for competition.

    Management got him another position which he only held for six weeks because the motherfuckers running this particular unit were so incompetent and had to halt work to “re-evaluate.” Anyway, when he came back the dept he threw several hissy fits and left work early several times when they asked him to work regular tasks.

    I still laugh at the entitled crybaby. When I got thrown back from the office after 11 months after working as an engineer, I was pissed but I never threw any kind of entitled tantrum when they gave me shitty jobs to do (and boy did they.)

    That’s what I fucking see here. An entitled lazy do nothing shithead demanding we listen while he sings the blues…

    Sad that you’re not the king of the world anymore? Fuck off.

    • There’s a guy like that where I work, although I’ve transferred to a part of the company where I never have to deal with that asshole again.  He grew up rich and connected, so he gets promoted regularly despite the fact that he is an HR nightmare.  Not one person has ever had a positive interaction with him.  Most are berated and told how stupid they are.  Everywhere he goes, he cuts a swath of destruction a mile wide.  Turnover goes through the roof, productivity goes to hell, and yet he just gets to whistle his way through his next promotion.  Nobody who has ever gone up against him has survived, including someone who had been with the company for over 20 years and who was universally respected and admired–and who wound up getting drummed out.

      I wouldn’t be surprised if that piece of shit becomes President of the company.

    • I haven’t listened to the whole song. But the bits I’ve heard are mediocre at best. His guitar is decent amateur playing, the lyrics are bad. And I’m not even talking about the right wing message. It’s poor song writing. I don’t think the conservatives pushing it did the guy any favors.

    • I would add the dangerous part with this assholes is they not only believe they’re entitled to everything, they also believe minorities (all of them) get special advantages and treatment.

      A few years back a neighbor invited me into their larger friend group and some of the folks were great. Some were odd, but whatevs. One made the point of complaining to me 3 different times that her husband didn’t get promoted to manager at his job because he wasn’t a black man and they aren’t promoting white men.

      Anyways, when I told the neighbor that his longtime friend was racist, I was not believed.

        • Midvale is the one I pull (or is it push?) far too often, *literally* at work, because somehow I tend to forget which way the school’s office door goes when it’s closed, and I inevitably push the “pull” side, and pull the “push” one.

          Luckily I’m not the only one who does it, and ironically, I’ve also seen some of my ADHD kiddos do the same, at the summer program😉😁💖

          Made me think of *myself* doing it so often, when I saw them, and I had a good chuckle, because that “Midvale School for the Gifted” comic is what I think of *EVERY* single time I do it😆😂🤣💖

  9. RE: the Maga song guy — this has been a playbook for them for a long time. It started with every right-wing book making the best-seller lists (allied groups bought them by the palette back in the day then switched to mass pre-ordering online) and has since grown to packing theaters (for “Sound of Freedom”) and now new-age payola for streaming.

    It’s funny that they’re dumb enough to admit it, but lots of people already suspected this was the case.
