Long sleeves and pants weather is finally here. I couldn’t be happier. I’m in the middle of year end inventory. It is going better than expected. Looking forward to getting out on time.

100% wore a flannel shirt to the office today!
I had to put on a long-sleeve t-shirt and a hoodie and a knit cap when I went out to mow this morning. It was quite comfortable and I managed about 35 acres with the bush hog. Listened to VNV Nation, which is really great farm work music.
Just so you know, this is a bush hog. It’s the rig I have.
…puts the set of gang mowers my father used to tow around my gran’s place to shame
…mind you…he did have a considerably smaller tractor…& a lot less acreage to get around
…still…both seem impressive to me?
You lose a lot of heat in the neck.
The day goes well! Had my annual physical this morning (still alive!) got some errands done and am working on my end-of-year project, which so far is going well. Have officially swapped my office outfit from shorts to Star Trek leggings … yeah, I work from home a lot. 🙂

kinda wierd having normal for here weather again after months of heat
day time temps just about pushing the 60s…. night time somewhere in the 30s…sometimes with ground frost…..causes some real pea soupers that make me think i should probably fix the front light on my bike before i become a statistic
but yeah…going well enough here…..it doesnt need to get much colder tho…. energy bills are no fun here at mo
