  1. Tucker Carlson has (shudder) four children, three daughters and a son. The son, Buckley, is the communications director for an Indiana Rep. (R) named Jim Banks, whose district covers the NE part of the state, where it meets Michigan and Ohio. Bucky went to UVa instead.

    Carrie has a rap sheet going back to her undergrad days but no jail time.

    But why was Tucker bothering the Bidens in the first place? All the Trump children went to UPenn save for one, Eric, who went to Georgetown. Daughter-wife Ivanka started at Georgetown but she transferred to UPenn and Georgetown is probably still sore about that, so she wouldn’t have been much help.

    • To get away from all this tawdry DC-centric stuff, the final episode of the final season of “Derry Girls” was shown in Britain Wednesday night. I don’t know when it’s going to be released for streaming here in the States. This season is by all accounts just as good as the first two, but even still they’re getting out of Our Lady Immaculate College (a secondary school, not a university) just in the nick of time. Nicola Coughlan, for example, who plays Clare, is 35. The lead, Erin, is the youngest member of the cast: Saoirse-Monica Jackson is but a tender 28. Nicola is going on to Bridgerton, so well done. S-M is going on to the upcoming Flash movie, so I’m sure that pays well, but she has to star opposite Ezra Miller, so…

  2. To a degree, the Tucker shit shows how close these people really are, even if they talk shit on t.v. Trump went to Clinton weddings, etc. They rub elbows and then play the game nationally. I don’t think all Dems are in bed with Reps and the corps that pay them, but most are it seems.

    • Bill and Hillary went to trump and Melania’s  wedding. trump was a Dem then and the story was that he made a sizable donation to the DNC for their presence. He was famously not invited to Chelsea’s wedding and went so far as trying to pull the my invitation must have got lost in the mail trick, calling a Clinton aide to ask for a new one but was told he was not invited. I’ve always believed that was why he hates them so much. It seems petty, but that’s trump.

      • Trump’s Foundation gave money to the Clinton Foundation, not the DNC, those are two very different things. And then in 2009 (he got married in 2005) the Trump Foundation ponied up another $100K to the Clinton Foundation. But Trump up until about 2010 or 2012 was always very good to individual New York Democrats. He was essentially buying life insurance and making sure he got a good leaving alone. Cuomo (as Attorney General, mind you) got tens of thousands, Eliot Spitzer (as Attorney General), Hillary the Senator, Schumer, Charlie Rangel, all kinds of NY Dems.

        JUST TO BE CLEAR, I am not slamming the Clinton Foundation (CharityWatch gives it an A- rating.) CharityWatch doesn’t rate the Trump Foundation because it is a “private foundation,” which I would guess translates to “money-laundering slush fund to benefit worthy recipients with the last name of Trump.”

      He’s clearly pretty distraught that his “career” is crumbling around him and that he’s got no other options than to try to get himself added to the MTG-Gaetz sideshow to raise cash. It’s hard out there for a weaselly grifting asshole without any discernable skills who has an highly questionable record that basically skirts convictions for major criminal activity. Best he teams up with others who fit that demographic.

  4. Well, my incredibly low opinion of Elon Musk somehow managed to sink even further. So he excels at one thing.

    “I’ll buy you a horse”? That’s his pitch? Now I’m wondering if he’s refined his technique by stalking teenagers. I’m also reminded that he called the British diver that helped rescue those boys in Thailand a “pedo.”

    Remember, folks, any time a Republican accuses someone else of a crime, it’s because they’re actually committing the crime themselves. Projection, y’all.

      • I started to accept this challenge, and then spent 45 seconds looking at the red pill hashtag on Twitter. I then abandoned it never to return. Of course the fourth or fifth tweet I read called for the red pill cretins to support Elon Musk. Just to bring the thread back around.
