I hope your weekend is going well! I hope if you’re in the US, today wasn’t wonky with daylight savings time and losing an hour.
I think I need a do-over today. I’ve been dropping things, spilling things, etc more than usual. My kitchen floor has been swept multiple times, LOL. Nothing bad happened, just a silly bit of ridiculousness.

Also I’m going to comment on the Oscars as they happen tonight.
Jimmy Kimmel’s opening monologue had some good laughs, some misses.
Also apparently the 80s series Dallas inspired a lot of hairdos tonight.
I understand conceptually what Melissa McCarthy’s dress is trying to do, but it’s one of those things that works great on a drawing or Barbie doll but not on a real person.
I always think about do overs, mistakes in life & why the fuck did I wake up at 4am?  I wish I could go back to middle school & take education seriously but when I think of how my life might have been totally different, I don’t think I could have done better with wife & kids.
Yeah I don’t think I would change anything major, because I don’t want to reroute my life. But there’s a few things, like wow why did I think starting a certain home project at 7pm was a good idea, or other small potatoes things like that, if I could skip some annoyances that would have been nice.
I was watching the reel for best makeup and hair nominees and I was like what the fuck most of these are just “hey we realistically made an actor or actress look significantly older than they are” so it was nice the the folks from Poor Things won.

I just saw The Boy and the Heron won for best animated movie. I would have been happy with either that or Spiderman.
Scrolling through the Oscar looks… Tiffany & Co. are trying real hard to make diamond crusted brooches for men a thing. Meanwhile, I’ve seen a couple of Ceasefire pins.
