Choices were made! (and they were fun!) [NOT 26/5/24]

"Ah, there they are. So what are you ordering for yourself?" By the way, these are hurricane glasses. I think it is illegal to put anything other than tropical drinks and loose change (not at the same time) in a hurricane glass.

Hi, friends!

How are you doing this weekend? If you have Monday off, are you doing anything fun tomorrow?

I’ll be doing most of the usual weekend chores tomorrow, because yesterday the neighbors had a bbq that started at mid afternoon and we ended close to midnight at the good local Mexican restaurant. I joked with another neighbor this morning that we were apparently trying to do a world tour with our drinking because we made the classic error of mixing alcohols. As in I started with beer, went to wine, then sake, then bourbon, then more wine, then tequila.

It would be accurate to say that this morning was a little rough, LOL, and that normal Sunday productivity is just not happening. I’m writing this NOT around 2pm, we’ll see by publication time if I managed to accomplish stuff.

  1. I’d like to provide an update! I rallied and managed to clean the bathroom, do laundry, declutter the living room, etc. And then spent a good amount of time in the basement thanks to thunderstorms and tornadoes and hail. All good now, though.

  2. We started birthday brewery crawl at 1115am yesterday, hit 4 breweries, lots of samplers, & then headed to our favorite Cuban place, had a mixed drink there & then special closer beer after we got home.  Daughter was a champ & lots of friends & fun.  Today we went to farmers market & one of my favorite winemakers was there so she got to do daytime wine tasting too!

  3. I had to pick up my wife last night at the airport so no serious drinking to recover from.

In fox news, one at a ton of mulberries and dropped a fresh turd in our alley, which I found the next morning filled with seeds. I’m becoming a real expert in their grosser habits and I’m sure you’re all glad to hear it.
