A lot of people will just pick up a witch or skeleton for their Halloween decorations. But there are also quite a few who go the custom route.
You start to see patterns. For example, custom jack o’lanterns.

There are monsters….

… and novelty tombstones.

Spiders and webs are very popular.

And this spider/skeleton is particularly wild.

Check out those transfigured Barbies!

There are houses which seem to throw everything under the sun in their yards, with no particular theme.

And then there are the houses with unique installations, like this haunted carnival.

And finally, this house with giant hands with eyes.

I love the political tombstones!
I’m not seeing as many decorations out this year. Aside from a wreath on the door I didn’t bother. It was a tough year personally and a worse one globally. I just don’t have it in me this year. But I do appreciate seeing other people’s decorations.
…so…do we think that last one is a pan’s labyrinth reference…or is not that on account of being red & I just don’t know the thing it’s meant to be?
Searching around, I think it’s a Zelda reference.
