Beware!
As we all know from our media consumption, cities are deadly places, and cities at night are terrible places to walk. So I took my life into my own hands one night and went for a walk, but somehow despite all odds lived to tell the tale.
If you’re looking for evidence that people meet their fate all the time where I live, you need look no further than this cemetery.

Just a few blocks away, you can see a reminder that death and destruction is everywhere, and guardians of civilization are on duty all night long.

But seriously, it was a nice night, and firemen taking a break were sitting in front of the firehouse chatting and smoking cigars.

I can’t keep up the conceit – there really wasn’t anything remotely scary about walking around that night, People were about, enjoying the warm weather, going about their business, taking a look at the Halloween decorations.

A house I had shown last week was all lit up, changing its look completely.

Stores were closed for the night, but their window displays were all lit up.

Or in the case of this place, the season is finally in sync with their business.

But far more than businesses, it was people’s homes which were lit up for Halloween.

If you can, take a walk through a city some night soon and see what you can see.
Of course the psychic was open — they knew you were coming.
Oh yeah? If they knew that, why weren’t they on a lunch break when I wasn’t? (Ask me how I know.)
YOU’RE PSYCHIC, TOO?!?!?
You live in a cool town with lots of fun quirky things.
Cities in the dark were my natural habitat for many years. They don’t scare me none.
Learning how to navigate is empowering. It’s probably why some people try to scare people out of doing it.
