Well, it’s been a heckuva few days here. That’s all that I’ll say about the current family drama, other than a very specific Simpsons reference:

I’m trying to get the lead out before I leave on my final road trip of the Summer. Oil changed, pastures almost all mowed. I have one more class to teach and then I’m off for a much-needed vacation.

It’s not easy, but eventually things do settle down. When it gets there is another thing. The things that kept me sane was that I was doing the things I did for them because they couldn’t and doing things one at a time instead of trying to juggle everything.
Of course that left me vulnerable to a workplace psychopath… but I regret nothing (my sisters do remind me periodically that maybe I should regret something… but nope.)
