Coffee Break [13/4/20]

It can be a struggle to get through the second half of the day.

Are you taking a mid morning coffee break while working from home, or do you find yourself reaching for something stronger? If so, you aren’t alone. Use this map from alcohol.org to see the percentage of your fellow workers imbibing while on the clock.

How do feel about drinking on the job? I personally never liked the idea of ruining a perfectly good buzz with business. Even at home take care not to become your company’s Freddy Rumsen.

      • Definitely sounds about right, most jobs come from tourism so not sure how they are working from home but if they are not in public view they are definitely drinking. Pa’u Hana literally means finished work but really means, time to drink and is built into the mentality.

  1. If I’d been smart and stocked up on some Baileys I would def. be putting that in my coffee. Probably a good thing I did not.
We have a weekly Monday morning team meeting and we’ve been doing zoom. I was reprimanded this morning for not turning my video on. EFFF you. It’s 9AM you do not need to see my face.

      • The main producer really needs to make another documentary about his life away from surfing. He has been on the crew of almost every big reality TV show since the Real World. He still does Survivor and was Trump’s personal cameraman for the Apprentice. Trump picked him because he was taller than Trump so was shooting down which made him look thinner. He has told me a few stories I can’t talk about but won’t really tell the good ones for fear of getting blackballed. Someday it will all come out though I hope!
