Herbal tea for me since I’m still dealing with stupid covid. I’d really like this fever to break, otherwise it’s just sinus infection symptoms.
Ugh, I hope you aren’t feeling too awful. Rest and hydrate.
It’s definitely not nearly as bad as covid round 1 back in April. The fever just has wrecked my appetite so I think a lot of the general malaise is related to that.
Feel better soon, hope the fever breaks!
I just found out a good friend of mine won an Emmy for 100 Foot Wave. I’m so happy for him! He was partially handicapped saving someone in a dive accident many years ago but nothing holds him down!

I just realized that I’ve never seen “Serial Mom,” just clips. I see that it’s available on Hulu, but in reality it’s available on Hulu “with Starz add-on.” This is an incredibly annoying trend: oh yes we have it. Well no, we don’t, but we’re in partnership with someone who does. Lots of stuff I’d like to watch is available supposedly on one of the streaming giants we subscribe to, but then, no, it’s really on BritBox.

Good news is that we have all been testing negative for Covid. My youngest had one false positive on Saturday followed by three negatives. We’re still staying masked and away from everyone but at least doing outdoor activities. This morning we hiked up Mount Royal. We nearly made it to the top before my kids lost patience (they have a cold and were being pushed in the stroller). I forgot that I’m 6 months pregnant….and it was hell because it took so much longer than usual (2.5hrs to the lake and back). I’m grateful that it’s a cooler day.
Six months pregnant pushing two kids in a stroller for 2.5 miles up and down hill? I feel inadequate.
One of my grandparents was born in August in the early 1900s. Can you imagine what that pregnancy and delivery was like for her mother? And it’s almost certain this was a home delivery, so a crowded, un-air-conditioned, possibly no running hot water, tenement.
Glad to hear it. And hopefully the weather will stay cooler now that we’re going into autumn. Being pregnant during hot weather sucks.
