It’s Monday morning. You have a staff meeting in an hour, a presentation due, and lunch with a client. But instead of preparing for any of them, you’re wasting time. I want to know how and where. What are your favorite websites for procrastinating? I found this list of pages to peruse rather than do your job while I was supposed to be coming up with this Coffee Break. Don’t tell myo, he’ll dock my pay.

That should have been obvious to me, lol.
Nailed it, @HammerZeitgeist.

You may never need another website. It’s a collection of thousands of titles in the public domain, including many, many classics. It’s from them that I got Woolf’s To the Lighthouse and Lawrence’s Women in Love, both of which I’m still slogging through. I don’t really have an e-reader so I choose the “view in HTML” feature.
I’ve been downloading books from them for years. Great site.
My company hired 5 people this summer and my CEO has determined that our 9 AM Monday meeting is no longer efficient (as if it ever were).
I am thrilled! That meeting was the bane of my existence for 5+ years!
Woohoo! Happy Monday @MegMegMcGee

I forgot about this one, lol.
…so…part of me is surprised no one said this already…& another part worries that I might be about to destroy somebody’s productivity…but maybe it’s just me?

Dear Prudence, on Slate. Or Ask A Manager. I like advice columns because people are soooo dumb.
I do too. The pandemic put a damper on Ask a Manager though. There haven’t been as many crazy office antics.
