Tonight I’m trying to get a hold of over a dozen people who won raffle prizes at a fundraiser yesterday to coordinate them getting their prizes. Good times! Lots of voicemail!
The good news is the biggest prize (by space taken up in my living room) is something I am dropping off in about 30 minutes.
Today was pretty good. I pulled a muscle in my leg last week and I think it’s back to normal now. Beautiful weather, had a nice walk in the morning, spent some patio time in the afternoon.
Just got back from meeting my friend’s new puppy. She is super cute & I am going to be watching her a few days next month. I’ll post some pics of her in the next creature feature.
I’m aiming for this Saturday at noon.
im pretty annoyed at having to work in a plague pit
feels pretty pointless trying to avoid the whole thing and not get my favoured fragile ones sick when my coworkers are doing things like showing up to work after testing positive coz they feel fine or spending a whole week coughing and spluttering but not even taking a self test coz and i quote i dont believe in corona…anyways..the person she ride shares with got it so she had to get tested….surprisingly enough she’s now stuck at home with you guessed it…
that said…if i make it through this week without catching it..im going to have to seriously consider the option that i’m one of the rare birds that has natural immunity….coz…theres no avoiding it at work anymore
That sucks! You guys have the “stealthy” Omicron right? It’s been jarring how many people here quickly dropped their masks just because they can. Particularly at the grocery store. It’s a communal area where we are shopping for food can you not just fucking wear a mask for that one errand? But also I want it to apply to any communal area that people must frequent (like schools or work).
yep..omni 2b or whatever is the dominant strain here
and mask mandates and social distancing got dropped a couple weeks ago
funnilly enough the entire country immediately caught colds and flu
last i heard starting this or next week getting tested if symptomic is going to be advisory…not mandated…same for staying home if tested positive
