I spent a large part of the weekend working on little home projects that just needed to get done. Furniture assembling, yardwork, fence repair, appliance repair, car cleaning, dog cleaning, pants hemming, and such.
This morning I even repaired a folding knife clip that I had somehow bent out of shape, which sounds easy to fix (just bend it back), but no, it involves finding a Torx driver small enough to unfasten the clip, and using lineman pliers to bend the metal back to its desired form. And then reattaching the sucker, which is not fun with two tiny screws that want to hit the floor and roll away, never to be seen again.
All that work and yet my car is still telling me to change the oil, and I’ve got more on my to-do list than when I started Friday evening. Lather, rinse, repeat.
Good luck this week.
