Deadsplinter Up! All Night: Amerigo Vespucci Day

Voyage to Discovery

On March 2, 1959, Governor Nelson A. Rockefeller of New York declared this holiday. This day was set aside to commemorate Amerigo Vespucci’s birth anniversary on March 9. He was one of the first Europeans to travel to the Western Hemisphere allowing the rest of the globe access to a new land.  Since this is a music show, I won’t go into the ramifications of his voyages or colonization & just get into the tunes!  If you want to learn more about Amerigo, here you go:

Sail on to the weekend good Deadsplinter-ites.  Keep the wind at your back.
