In these stupid times, I want you guys to know that I am bringing the stupid content. Did you know that — despite the holiday feasts in the near future — we are in the midst of National (US) Fun With Fondue Month? I can’t believe anyone missed this. Americans celebrating a Swiss staple.
The exact origin of this celebration is not well-documented. However, fondue parties became popular in the 1960s and 1970s. During this time, the communal nature of fondue made it a favorite for social gatherings.
So, in part because @farscythe refuses to assume the title of “Fondude”, it’s up to me to get this smörgåsbord (that’s actually Swedish) going.
