Dr. Ring-Ding is a German artist that has been performing some great reggae, ska and dancehall for more than 30 years. He has mostly flown completely under the radar in the U.S. but has a huge European following. Most of his music is lighthearted and he often makes fun of his own size. He has collaborated with some reggae greats like Lord Tanamo, Derrick Morgan and Judge Dread and ska greats the Skatalites and The Toasters. So if you need some fun music, just Ring the Doctor!

Dr Feelgood (the band) were one of the great pub-rock outfits of all time. I used a fake ID to go see them play way back when and it was one of the great nights of my life. I didn’t even care for that kind of music at the time but an attractive young lady asked me if I would go see them with her. Brinsley Schwarz were in the audience that night and it was raucous.
