I’m tasked with cleaning up the house ahead of an upcoming trip out of town, so I’ve got no time for any complicated DUAN nonsense. What music do you all use to inspire you to clean your places? I’m desperate here. And please, you don’t have to stick with music with the word “clean” in it, you know. It’s just that my OCD requires me to be pedantic about every goddamn thing when it comes to DUAN.

Thank you for your kind DUAN participation. By the way, do any of you know how to get dark stains out of the shower tile grout?

  3. I usually listen to the radio when I’m cleaning and I love when a good soul or funk tune comes on. Something I can dance around to while I’m working. Like this track from The Heavy – The House That Dirt Built (see what I did there 😉)

  4. Put 50% water 50% bleach in a spray bottle and spray the grout. Let it sit for 10 mins then spray it all again. Let it sit for 10 more mins. Then get to scrubbing that shit with a toothbrush.

      • Right? I gave that “fix” serious avoidance.

        I tried the “use a hair dryer” method, various purchased remedies purporting to solve the issue, and basic polish techniques, all to no avail.

        Finally I broke down and rubbed in the mayonnaise on the water ring. Boom shaka lacka boom! Who knew? Mayonnaise for the furniture repair win.
