probably the time of year slowing me down
The low-power AM station from somewhere up here in the hills was featuring Carl & Pearl Butler today while I was tooling around the farm.
Do you happen to own any outfits vaguely reminiscent of the ones that Carl Butler is sporting? Pix would be appreciated.
When I lived in Houston, I really really wanted to buy a Nudie suit. I had one picked out but the wife said nah.
On my playlist came this:

Cultural appreciation or appropriation, you be the judge, but it’s one of the most beautiful and romantic songs ever written/performed.
@MatthewCrawley, Peter Gabriel has helped out so many international artists get heard around the world. Â He used to produce the Womad music festival before 9/11 fucked that up. Â One of the best & most diverse music festival ever. Â I was at one of the last ones in the US & Peter & Afrocelt Sound system was amazing!
