Wasn’t ABBA and their outfits fabulous? But did you know that their outfits were also a tax avoidance scheme? Part of the reason behind their use was the Swedish Tax Code. You see, in Sweden you can deduct the cost of clothing from your taxes, as long as the clothes aren’t “everyday clothes”. Bring on the glitter!

  1. ABBA makes me think of dancing queen and dancing. Here’s a little ditty which exhorts us all to dance:


     

    • Ellie, If we’re gonna dance around here then I’m gonna half to throw down some Tom Jones and Janis Joplin. Bonus: the second half of this vid features some very energetic and groovy background dancers.


       

      • Lots of fringe and headbands on that crowd.

        • … It’s like the dancers are there to distract you from the juxtaposition of Tom Jones next to Janis Joplin.

      • I’m pretty impressed that Tom is able to hold his own with Janis.

    im not bothered….but the missus seems a little traumatized
    i dont think my daughter realizes you can hear everything in this house
    but then…she still hasnt figured out how it is i keep calling her out for doing shit whilst im in a different room….maybe shes not the brightest spark :p
