Deadsplinter Up! All Night: Down the Road I Go

Here’s Iowa’s legendary rockers Truth and Janey. Apparently they only sold 1,000 copies of their 1976 album No Rest for the Wicked originally. Probably to keep the face melting casualties to a minimum.

    • I hope he isn’t as chest hair deficient.

        • Mostly I and my crew never grew out of middle school.  I still think “Airplane!” is the greatest piece of cinema ever created.

most of us boys (me included) take a long time!

            • Just tonight, after I said something particularly vexing, Mrs. Butcher said, “There’s a reason why I married you.  I’m sure if I look hard enough I’ll eventually find it.”

  3. @Jonee – My face is appropriate melted! Thanks for that.

      • “John Barleycorn must die” is one of those albums that plays like an ALBUM. Superb.
        This is for you, Ellie:

        • Thank you kindly.  I have Traffic interspersed in my way too long Q3 Spotify playlist. I never prune them out.

          • I think I’d like your Spotify!
I had Traffic pretty heavy on a shindig playlist some years ago. There was family there of all ages so I didn’t want to hit them too hard.  Random people kept asking me, “Who is this? It’s great!”.  It’s Traffic.

        • This is my favorite. I saw Steve Winwood at Bonnaroo, 2005 maybe, it was raining, he kept on playing and it was wonderful.

          • Excellent !  Casa del Sorbate has been grooving this morning.

    • You are most welcome, Polly!
