    • I really love Mirah.
      I’m also pretty lucky, in that there are a lot of small, inexpensive venues nearby, and she comes through fairly frequently. (well, before this pandemic situation…)  One of them (The Independent (probably the biggest venue I’ve seen her at?), maybe?) Thao was in the audience, and Mirah called her up on stage and they did a few things from the Thao and Mirah album.  It was really cool.
      And, she usually sticks around to sign stuff afterwards, and seems really friendly and such.

      • Oh, cool. The Independent in San Francisco?  That would totally make sense that Thao Nguyen was in the audience. That must have been a treat of a duet session.

        • I think so.
          (er, I think it was The Indepenent, not that I think it was the one in San Francisco…), it was one of the larger venues I’ve seen her in, and it was also a venue I was vaguely familiar with, whereas a lot of the venues I’ve seen her perform in are places I haven’t been to before or since…
