  1. Wet Leg Chaise Lounge

Which reminds me a bit of Bonaparte Too Much

    • @Elliecoo Yes to both! I cannot wait for Wet Leg to release more tracks and I’d love to see them live in the near future.

I also quite like this Bonaparte track from the same era as “Too Much”

  2. Ethel Merman went through a disco phase:

She would have been about 70 when she performed this.

    • Worth owning just for the cover art.

  3. Let’s see…how about this very rare short film of the Spade Cooley Band from 1945 featuring my steel guitar idol Joaquin Murphey.  If any of you have ever read any of James Ellroy’s novels, you might already have some idea of the Spade Cooley legend.

  4. now..how am i sposed to know if a song i know is a hidden gem?

    i kinda figure….if i know it…it must be famous

      • right …well now ive got my gems out of the way…im going back to my regular programming….

        *bounces*

  5. Leonard Nimoy released an album:

William Shatner was more a spoken word kind of guy:

  6. I miss this group and their predecessor, The Unicorns.

    Islands, “Rough Gem”

Thao & Mirah, “Rubies And Rocks”

  7. Everything by  Reid Paley is a hidden gem

    Lazarus In Brooklyn

    Including this tune he wrote

Frank Black – I’m Not Dead (I’m In Pittsburgh)

  8. I’m not sure what a hidden gem is in music, but this was something I did not hear until Mark Hollis’ unfortunate passing two years ago.

Talk Talk – I Believe in You

  9. The Monkees?  From one of the greatest live albums ever!!!
