I dunno if you have access where you are, but the documentary Eyes On The Prize is one of the most gripping things I’ve ever seen. Imagine the Omaha Beach stuff of Saving Private Ryan times ten.
In the US it’s on PBS and HBO Max but you all might need to find (ahem) alternative avenues to see it. Totally worth it.
