Yep, it’s National Dog Day. Let us know how you are observing this holiest of days.
My younger dog and I are recovering from a very strenuous trail run on Saturday, where we gained 1,000 feet of elevation over 3 miles to reach a pass in Oregon’s Elkhorn Mountains, and then returned the same way, enduring a light rain for the last half of the descent. So, lots of rest and treats today for the mountain dog. (The older dog was happy to hang with mom at the camp, snuggled up in a blanket. She gets treats for being the smart one.)
