After a brutal cold winter the past few days have hit 60 around here, and things are starting to green up a bit. Sunday is shearing day and there’s excitement all over the farm. We have a good number of pregnant ewes, and lambing is only about 6 weeks away. Families of deer have been wandering through the yard at 6am and Sarah the sheepdog is sleeping in the middle of the road in front of the barn. The rehab on my knee is going better than I thought it would and I’m finally back to where I was before I tore my meniscus.
I can’t really complain. How’s by you?

You know, LV, you are honor bound to post a million pix of the lambs and their moms.

When the lambing time comes, there will be plentiful baby pix, rest assured.
I’ll work on Luigi’s farm but not Maggie’s Farm. I volunteer to be a dog petter and a lamb snuggler.
after januari being a full month of grey and rain its been real nice to have februari start with a full week of blue skies and sunshine
does mean my walk in to work is fairly nippy tho as its well below freezing before sunrise
