Rob Scallon is really talented. Other videos have him playing two-sided guitars, and just slaying on a shovel with one string and a pickup that he calls a “djent stick.”
The Beatles almost always listed writing credit on their songs as Lennon/McCartney, but if you go through each song you could probably pick out which song was more heavily influenced by Paul. He was such a brilliant pop song writer and he has never been matched in my humble opinion.
This couldn’t be more true and Mark’s antics have not only aged poorly they’ve become kind of sad, like that high school classmate that you see around that never grew up.
Doesn’t change the fact that I think this is a damn good song.
Oh I don’t disagree. I used to listen to them when I was a teenager and thought they were humorous but when you’re a teen anything messed up seems funny. I wasn’t aware of what Mark had been up to in recent years and hadn’t followed the band in long time.
Culture Abuse — Dream On
This band opened for The Menzingers and Tigers Jaw the other night. It was an incredibly fun show, though I’m too old for the mosh pits.
They played a show down the street from me about a decade ago and I just remember shaking my head a lot. I have no idea what his life is like outside of that.
Djent + Jazz = Djazz
That was insane. In a positive way.

I gotta +2 this one. I really enjoy this beyond it’s novelty.

I don’t believe I’ve ever heard of him. I’m gonna have to go down a rabbit hole about this guy, tomorrow at work.
The T-Heads!
Yeah!
I second that.
+1 That was really cool to see
Love-Maker – Calum Bryce
You need to make a public playlist on Spotify.

I don’t know how to do that, but I’m sure I can figure it out. Worse comes to worst, I’ll send you a mixtape.

I hate this band for so many reasons but I love this song:
Guttermouth – Hit Machine
God Guttermouth. They’re one of the most ridiculously offensive WTF did I just hear bands.

I want to like this but I can’t quite get there.
I’m kind of the same way. They’re very energetic but that’s about it.
It’s a little soft around the edges. Needs to be a bit angrier.

I’m having a 90s nostalgia day that made me travel down a rabbit hole to this:
