DeadSplinter Up! All Night: Oh No

Ok so we kind of touched on this a couple of weeks ago, but yesterday I was at a memorial service and they had someone sing “I Will Always Love You”. First of all, probably shouldn’t be attempted by just anyone and secondly, THAT’S A BREAKUP SONG!

Also not appropriate:

Though to be fair, I played this at my brother’s memorial.

What inappropriate song should we play for you?

As always, thanks for your continued support of DUAN and Deadsplinter!

  1. I’ve joked about songs to play at my funeral with my life. This might be the most obvious.

Warren Zevon – I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead

  2. All my friends and family know I have a sick sense of humor so they won’t be surprised…

  3. I always thought it would be funny to have this played at my funeral. It seems romantic but is really about necrophilia. Too dark?

Dream Syndicate – Still Holding On To You

  4. This might be fun too

    Liberty Bell March

  5. My family has been instructed to play this with the original 20th Century Fox fanfare.

  6. Had to pre plan funeral arrangements as well as pay for them (family group rate) last week which

    a) didn’t help my mood

    b) didn’t help my sleep (night shift)

    c) it took all my willpower to not yell at people at work/home/etc.

    I would hope

  7. Why does this topic fascinate me so?  I have so many funeral songs that I’ll have to give out mixtapes at my wake like party favors.  No wait, I’ll make up little gift bags like at the Oscars.

  8. I only ever loved your ghost
