Deadsplinter Up! All Night: Rainbows

My lady is in town this week, so no time to regale you with any tales from my origin story. Here’s everyone’s favorite Beach Boy, Denny Wilson, and a great track from his wonderfully melodramatic solo album, Pacific Ocean Blue.

Thank you for your continued support of Deadsplinter!

      • sorry? no, no, no my friend. it was me that did the screw-up. after I posted izee’s rainbow, I remembered the stones’ and added it. it’s my fault.

you are in MN, yes? how’s the winter going? in chi-town it’s snowing again. I can’t wait for winter to be over. I’m so sick of the snow/ice. we must pay shaq a visit!

        • Went to the Caucuses (local stuff only, since we have the Super Tuesday Primary) & just got home. So I wasn’t able to get back to you💖

And Yes, Minnesota (Minneapolis specifically), and we’re surprisingly nice right now. That jet stream split happens to go directly *around* this part of the state, so we’re sitting in a strange little island of *perfect* right now–around 30-40 during the day, mild breezes, etc.

It’s supposed to cool down the next couple days, but we’re still pretty lucky that it’s been mostly mild.

And YES, we oughtta go visit Shaq😉💖💞

  1. Twofer Tuesday! The Babe Rainbow – Secret Enchanted Broccoli Forest

and my sister’s favorite rainbow song, Kalapana – (For You) I’d Chase a Rainbow

  2. I love alone time. It gets more rare as time goes by. A few weeks back my spousal unit went to Vegas and I kicked it old school and rocked out with my co….oh, who am I kidding. I didn’t even go to the casino to play poker or slots. I hung at home playing Xbox and binging the 1st few episodes of the new Dr Who season and a couple other shows/movies. I don’t even think I had an air guitar concert in the kitchen.

This weekend we watched Rocketman (pretty good if you haven’t seen it). I always like Elton John and think it was one of those artist that my parents took the LPs from me and not the other way around. I liked how they worked the tunes into the story to make a musical and I was humming tunes all say sunday since we had no power.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Please welcome. Elton John…

Well Crocodile Rocking is something shocking
When your feet just can’t keep still
I never knew me a better time and I guess I never will

  3. …I aim to come back & star things with my usual seeming lack of discernment [it’s not my fault you lot post things I appreciate…I blame you…] but somewhere around the reference to children of the 70s/80s I remembered this

…which is actually the beginning of a longer tune with some slightly more…well…trippy animation, I guess…& less pink cuddly hippos or weird felt creatures whose mouths could literally be zippered shut…kids TV is some crazy shit in any decade, I guess

  4. Ha!!!😉🤣😂😂😂

“kids TV is some crazy shit in any decade, I guess”

I’ll see you your Rainbow, and raise you a Krofft Supershow🤣🤣🤣

    SERIOUSLY!!!

HOW.ON.EARTH was this completely druggy-hippie-shit our era’s *Children’s Television Programming*???!!!?!?

I mean, don’t get me wrong, I LOVED Wonderbug, and the rest of the Krofft stuff.

But DAAAAAYYYYYUUUUMMMM, is it some uber-trippy shit, when you re-watch.

Hell, the lines of the intro song are just… SO full of drug references… in a CHILDREN’S SHOW😳🤯🤣
