And Yes, Minnesota (Minneapolis specifically), and we’re surprisingly nice right now. That jet stream split happens to go directly *around* this part of the state, so we’re sitting in a strange little island of *perfect* right now–around 30-40 during the day, mild breezes, etc.
It’s supposed to cool down the next couple days, but we’re still pretty lucky that it’s been mostly mild.

I love alone time. It gets more rare as time goes by. A few weeks back my spousal unit went to Vegas and I kicked it old school and rocked out with my co….oh, who am I kidding. I didn’t even go to the casino to play poker or slots. I hung at home playing Xbox and binging the 1st few episodes of the new Dr Who season and a couple other shows/movies. I don’t even think I had an air guitar concert in the kitchen.
This weekend we watched Rocketman (pretty good if you haven’t seen it). I always like Elton John and think it was one of those artist that my parents took the LPs from me and not the other way around. I liked how they worked the tunes into the story to make a musical and I was humming tunes all say sunday since we had no power.

2 summers ago I went with my friends to see her and I had told my friends I bought them lawn seats for Xmas. But when we got there we just kept walking down and down and down to our 10th row seats. My friends were very confused as they slowly realized what was happening. It was a BLAST. Other than the fact that the bartender thought I was my friends’ mom. ‘But I’m a cool mom.’
