As many of you know, I visit Lake Tahoe each year & our whole family loves our time there.  When we were there several weeks back, the air quality was terrible, the water level the lowest I had ever seen & you could sense the tension of all the locals.  They have now evacuated the south lake area and it has now moved within 20 miles of my brother-in-law’s home.  It seems each year the fires get worst and I am already in fear of what will be left if we go next year.  While so far our area in the north side of the lake has been spared, it is only a matter of time until that area is destroyed too.  Sorry to bum everyone out just before the weekend but it’s been a rough couple of weeks for all of us and anyone that has NorCal connections. The Fantastic Negrito sums it up pretty well with his new song…

    • Please share the inside joke w/ the class.  Is Meg a fire starter?

      • I remember Meg once sharing with us that one of her biggest pet peeves is seeing cigarettes flicked out of car windows.

      • One of my pet peeves!

        • I knew I loved her for a reason!  I’ve almost got in fights over it & is in my top 5 road rage reasons.
