I am not a fan of mainstream Christmas music but sometimes I hear fun music that has a Christmas theme and think, I can do this. The great rockabilly guitarist JD McPherson put out some fun Christmas tunes.

This is what we’d usually play when putting up our thousand Christmas tree ornaments:
God I miss our Holiday Open Houses so much. And it’s not like anyone else is having Christmas parties either. My problem is so many of my friends got out of Dodge when the going got tough. They’re not eager to return to the Manhattan of 2023. BH is a little luckier. Some (but not many) of his friends decided to tough it out, like we did, but they’re not young so it’s not like the way it was 20 or 30 years ago.
Ah well, BH and I have each other and the Faithful Hound and who could ask for anything more?
