Welp! I’m out of time. My plan was to put together a post with songs I like from DUAN contributors over the years – songs I wouldn’t have heard otherwise. Unfortunately…I’ve lost my list and don’t have time to find it. So…off the top of my head…

    …I already failed to get lemmy to believe me once today about a functionally infinite list…& I was racking up so many examples of things that would qualify for those criteria I had to stop looking at DUAN posts on schoolnights

    …I dunno…going on half of just about everything everyone posts…if you average it out…maybe more

    …hell, before I met @farscythe I didn’t even know youtube had this many expansion packs

    …it’s like the sirens of legend…except I’m not sailing & getting wrecked…I’m…well…I guess I might be “sailin’ on a summer breeze” if “everybody’s talkin” made an appearance…but more to the point what I’m not doing is sleeping…& the numbers don’t lie

    …you lot reliably find & signpost more rewarding musical rabbit holes than I have loseable hours of sleep

      dropping a 36 song playlist in your posts and rarely ever doubling up….is not easy

      occasionally annoying sure…. but not easy

  5. there have been songs @hannibal has shared with me that i like, but i’d have to hear them or find my list on account of the fact that i am terrible at remembering artists and titles. but recently being reminded of this comment had me LMAO!

    i also remember shitting on, privately to @splinterrip, ed sheeran, but added, “there was one song pf his that i remember liking because it was kinda hip hop-ish.” that led to both of us putting everything aside for an entire day to shoot the shit and share tunes back and forth…including this gem…
