When I read the topic, I thought jeez it was going to be tough to find some, but then I got it.
After Midnight
There’s an instrumental song in the musical Chicago called “After Midnight” I believe, too!
I’m inspired to go with another Fleetwood Mac, because I like looking at Lindsey Buckingham (and Christine McVie is the real unsung workhorse of the group).
Fleetwood Mac, “Hold Me”
Thompson Twins, “Hold Me Now”
@manchucandidate is
Baby’s On Fire -Die Antwoord
Dandy Warhols – Love Song
The Cure – Lovesong
I forgot about the Dandy Warhols one! I was thinking of this one and The Cure’s.
Am I doing this right?
Enjoy the musical genius that is Earth, Wind & Fire’s “Sing a Song”
And have some Carpenter’s “Sing a Song”
Patsy Cline’s “Crazy”
Britney Spear’s “(You Drive Me) Crazy”
I’m taking time from the rehearsal dinner to post this from NYC. That’s how much I love you guys.
@Luigi Vuoto we love you too, hope thst you are having a blast! Be naughty for me.
Speaking of NYC. . . .
Joey Ramone – “Don’t Worry About Me”
This one took me a while to think of.
“One” – I picked a version with Mary J Blige because holy fuck is she awesome and elevates this song to a completely different level
“One” from A Chorus Line. Performing kick lines always sucked when I did dance as a kid so I’m always impressed by a good kick line and dismayed thinking about all the damn work it takes.
Bee Gees – “One”
Dum Dum Girls – “I Got Nothing”
Iggy & the Stooges – “I Got Nothin'”
Iggy & the Stooges – “Penetration”
The Jesus and Mary Chain – “Penetration”
Smashing Pumpkins – “1979”
Teengenerate – “1979”
My Bloody Valentine – “Sometimes”
The Psychedelic Furs – “Sometimes”
