I saw The Posies at Cabaret Metro in ’94 (might have been ’95).
Local band Material Issue was the warmup act for The Posies (if I remember correctly, which is possible though not probable).
I saw the Posies in 2005 at Bumbershoot in the rain. Lead singer was wearing only his tightly whities & a see thru plastic bag. Couldn’t find the footage online so you get this from just down the road much later…
Another band with Northwest US and R.E.M. ties.
