Deadsplinter Up! All Night : Trapped

soooo….i spent most of the day at me mums doing yardwork (well….mostly hauling rooftiles…..and then smashing them all into pieces in a skip….hard work…but kinda fun) anyways…..roundabout 5 pm the missus calls me to tell me shes trapped inside the house…

turns out…as she was putting out the laundry…the front door blew shut…and she had no keys…. so she borrowed a neighbour and his ladder and got in through the bedroom window i left open she then thanked the neighbour and sent him back home with his ladder and went downstairs to open the door from inside

yeah that didnt work out….the lock went to locky heaven in the very much locked position…..

normally this would be an annoyance……but we were still waiting for the fucking landlord to fix the currently stuck shut backdoor….

so yeah…missus had a fun afternoon stuck in the house…

anyways…locksmith got everything sorted now (and only cost me €40)…but uhh…ive only just got in and am kinda phoning this one in

      • …pretty sure they mostly were just the afghan whigs…at least the way I remember that…but it’s a john peel session…think that’s the only reason it’s labelled that way but I couldn’t swear to it?

          dude found all the odd shit before we had youtube..

          part of me misses the days of tuning in to see what john peel found now

          course the rest of me knows i have more music at my fingertips now than he could ever dream of…..

            …dread to think what music in the UK would have been like if you ret-conned john peel out of history…be like if the british empire never got big enough to find spices or something…doesn’t bear thinking about really?
