Deadsplinter Up! All Night: Urge for Going

where horizons unfold, we step foot on a journey

It’s been a wearing Spring, but the hard part of the year is coming to an end and in a few weeks I’ll be hitting the open road for one of my periodic trips to Chicago. It can’t come too soon. Much as I love this farm, I can use a break. First, I’ll be putting my wife on a plane to Belgrade for five weeks and then my time is free, my tank is full, and I will follow the road to where asphalt and concrete replace meadow and pond. Counting the hours.

  1. Good luck with the drive. I just got done with a stretch of Interstate driving, and while this song is true in a sense, it’ due to construction and clueless drivers for the most part.
