I found this song by LA Priest on a recent play list by Edmund Irwin Singer, who does bass guitar, keyboards, and backing vocals for Glass Animals. We saw Glass Animals live, from balcony seats, a few years back. They were wonderful – engaging, pleased to be playing. Not jaded – they were so excited to have sold out a medium-sized venue on a rainy, cold Monday night.
Glass Animals from our balcony seats!
Anyway, back to the song, What Moves by LA Priest. What moves you on this Sunday evening within the new dystopian world order? And, as always, thank you for support of DeadSplinter and DUAN.
Sigur Ros is my go-to when I need to just let someone else take the emotional wheel. Their album “()” is excellent as emotional ambience, but it’s more cruise control than auto-pilot. For that, I like the more assertive melodies on “Takk.”
Beautiful song, but the drummer reminds me of Oskar Matzerath.

If you’ve never gotten to see them close a show with this, watch it all the way through:

I wonder why Puddles isn’t creepy even though he’s so big. Is it the beautiful voice?

jfc her walk-out is hilarious
It’s been raining a lot in L.A. That’s been moving me. Reminds me of my former life in the northeast.
