This is their latest album. Just dropped recently.
The song at the end of this anecdote will render nugatory any hope that it could be dubbed a parable…hence “anecdote”…
Around the time this song was released I was dating an “atheist” who told me about this band named Creed and suggested I buy their album. I was reluctant to say the least…as Creed didn’t sound like my bag at all…but I relented after she said, “no, the whole album is about how you can find yourself without God.”
I bought the fucking thing.
Song isn’t bad but holy shit was she ever wrong about the entire album.
“You know how your favourite movie is The Princess Bride?” was the beginning of the end of our dating.
