Are you guys starting to do any spring cleaning? I spent some of the afternoon cleaning up the living room. Organizing boxes and putting stuff away.
Why would I? Well, I got visitors coming at the end of next week.
Shocker.
Plus I realized I have some projects I have to finish.

Incoming visitors is the best motivator for cleaning in my experience. My in-laws arrive on Friday. I’ve been cleaning taking care of minor repairs in anticipation of their arrival. They’ll be staying will us because now we have room for them.
Mixed bag of spring cleaning here.
On the one hand, gardening season is upon us (THANK FUCK! My mental health needed this.) which means lots more dirt and mess in parts of my house. So, who cares.
But also? Other rooms I ignored a lot of slow buildup of clutter so other spaces in the house, those I’ve been cleaning.
