I just heard on MSNBC that Trump is claiming that the FBI is raiding his home right now! They haven’t verified this yet but OH GOD, I hope this is true!!!
I share your excitement. It’s about time somebody made that fucker pay. Even if there’s no conviction, turn his life into a living hell of charges and depositions.

He called it “his beautiful home.” Another one of his cons is that no one, not even the owner, is supposed to be able to live at Mar-a-Lago for more than something like two or three weeks out of the year. This has something to do with it being a hotel/club and no one’s real residence. I’m sure preferential tax treatment is involved somehow. And yet, here we have the self-proclaimed world’s smartest businessman pulling another cheap con, this time to essentially give himself free rent.

Nothing like this has ever happened to a President of the United States before. After working and cooperating with the relevant Government agencies, this unannounced raid on my home was not necessary or appropriate.

Sadly, America has now become one of those Countries, corrupt at a level not seen before. They even broke into my safe!

This has been some kind of Monday. I needed an FBI raid on trump to salvage it. But if it turns out they don’t find anything it will only add to the MAGA crowd’s persecution complex and make things worse. Please, PLEASE don’t fuck this up, FBI!

Yeah whatever evidence they took to the judge to approve the warrant had to be amazing. Because a judge isn’t going to approve this without some damning good evidence.

NY Times, CNN, and other national outlets have refused to credit him and have been citing Trump’s statements which are, of course, of questionable reliability. But Maggie Haberman only knows the reality her sources decide to let her see.
There are reports that right wing social media is blowing up on a scale with January 6. The press is fanning the flames by reporting this from Trump’s point of view instead of putting front and center how this wouldn’t happen without good evidence backing it up and approval from a federal judge. His whining can go to paragraph 92.
This is absolutely shameful — they are still in denial about the risks of violence both from mobs and gunmen.
I have no doubt cynical right wing consultants are hoping things get so tense that they can push the press into a narrative that Biden needs to pardon Trump before we even know what he did. They want it to be Biden’s fault that the right is nuts.
