Food You Can Eat: Vanilla Yogurt Fruit Dip

A mid-century dip that is actually not awful

Yes, Mrs. Butcher did take this picture. Why do you ask?

First things first:  The only picture here is the featured image.  If you can’t figure this out without my holding your hand every step of the way, then you’ve got serious problems.

A caveat before we get started:  I didn’t use the nuts or the coconut for this recipe because it is optional for a reason.  Nuts will completely fuck up the texture here and coconut is just plain disgusting.  Case closed.

Here’s what you’ll need:

3 oz. Light Cream Cheese

⅓ Cup Brown Sugar, packed

½ tsp. Vanilla

1 Cup Plain Yogurt

¼ Cup Toasted Nuts or Coconut (optional)

Beat cream cheese while slowly adding brown sugar.  Add vanilla and beat until light and fluffy.  Add yogurt and beat until smooth.

Top with optional toasted nuts or coconut.

Serve with fruit.

This is really very good and I will be making it again.
