I tried to find something comparable price wise to last week’s offering.

I really tried @HammerZeitgeist to find something better. The most i could come up with is a warehouse downtown. We would at least have a place to do stuff and make stuff.

  1. I’ve got to get a new hockey package for my satellite tv.  I’ve got meaningless pre-season NBA games everywhere, but scarcely any hockey.

  2. Based on from what I’ve seen in the movies:

    1 The warehouse looks like the kind of place where bad folks make money. John Wick comes to visit, shoots the fuck out of the occupants and blows up the warehouse in the process.

    2 It’s a torture chamber of horrors where cannibals or satanists work to turn ordinary god fearing folks into long pig jerky

    3 It’s just an ordinary workplace, but someone’s frozen stiff and hanging from a meathook.

    Nothing good ever happens there.

  3. Getting really close to NBA season makes me happy, even some preseason games have been fun.

     

    A house Dolly Parton had built back in the late 80’s is back on the market in my old hood.  She opened a bar/restaurant my brother in law used to play music at but only lived in the house for a short time.  She got tired of all the gawkers trying to get a glimpse of her sunbathing.  The restaurant was pretty bad too and didn’t last long.  I knew some people that rented rooms in this place after the market crashed.  Looks pretty good now!  Anybody want to go in with me?

  4. That warehouse brings back so many memories. My mom ran a small import and distribution company of Asian foods (rice, noodles, sauces, canned goods etc.). She had one employee who stocked the warehouse and made deliveries. Her warehouse was maybe a third the size of that one. She was a single mom running her own business so I spent all my days off school climbing pallets stacked to the roof with bags of rice and boxes. Lol not the safest playground but it definitely taught me to assess my surroundings before climbing or jumping and to trust my body’s instincts. My childhood was wild compared to what my kids are growing up with.

        In the interest of fairness, I nearly put my teeth through my tongue when I smashed my jaw on a wood frame on the monkey bars at the age of 11.

  5. ive got f1 at cota…with free practice starting just now….love it when f1 is on your side of the pond as that means evening races for me

    well…except when they do las vegas as they went with the fairly nutty option of having the race at midnight local time….putting it in a kinda awkard timezone even for most of the states….but 7 am for me….meh

  8. oh…ive also got raccoon…which is a band from the hague which may or may not be known in the states..as they started of with english song…then switched to dutch for a few years…and now they are back on english…..the new stuff sounds like it might do alright for itself in the states…if it ever gets there
