This is more in my price range…
…saw a video somewhere a while back of a guy who restored one of those & they were specifically designed so they’re basically useless to anyone other than a beetle with the roof mounted hitch/socket whatever…but he did a really nice job & the inside of the trailer was surprisingly well appointed…not sure the factory spec was as good but you’d think the people that made the iconic camper van must made a decent fist of that part?
It’s pretty crazy, would love to see one in person.
