Last year the Pro Bowl had some flag football games and that was more entertaining than the tackle game.
Craig Ferguson was the best late-night guy.
@MemeWeaver
I agree.
Have some Larry King
@KeitelBlacksmith, The guy (Josh Robert Thompson) who normally voiced Jeff the Robot was excellent as well.
I’m doing the Electric Slide right now.
Of course you are!
I will add that it’s a little more complicated than it looks. Have you ever been to a Black wedding or a party where they’ve done this? They still do it to this day. Better Half was just at a baby shower on Saturday (I couldn’t make it) and the DJ played this and everyone hit the dance floor. I love line dances of all kinds and this is one of my favorites, even though there are 80+-year-old women who are much better at it than I am.
I learned my line dances at black weddings. I also learned to do Chicago-style steppin’ from a co-worker who was my date for a black wedding way back.
Do you do your line dances with your sheep? I bet if you had a sheepdog you could train him or her the Electric Slide, they’re amazingly intelligent animals, and he or she could herd the sheep into doing the Electric Slide with you.
I used to dance with my dog sometimes. We’d do a modified cha cha, where I’d advance to him and he’d retreat, and then I’d retreat and he’d advance to me, then we’d spin around 180 degrees so that our backs were to each other. He’s a very good dancer, actually.
…so…at first glance with the bad guy being associated with fire I thought monkey man might be a sort of riff on the jungle book but it’s hanuman…& the whole thing is dev patel…who aside from the somewhat dour green knight effort is mostly someone I associate with fun stuff like the best exotic marigold hotel…he’s sort of like the journey to the west monkey king except this one tried to pick the sun & eat it like an apple…well…maybe not the one in the movie but hanuman…so…figure that looks like a lot of fun
…& the ministry of ungentlemanly warfare…that’d be (entertainingly loosely by the looks of it) operation postmaster…which I think was SOE (presumably where westley makes an appearance) & a commando detachment (not sure which one & they may have got called something else but (I think) that’s where some/all of them came from?)
…so hopefully a bit like inglorious basterds…but maybe more fun?
A good action movie is a delight, I’m optimistic about this one.
guy ritchie…..im sold
Both of those movies look like something that I will probably fall asleep halfway through when they are streaming on Netflix/Prime.
I do enjoy some Henry Cavill from time to time. It looks like he’s having fun in this particular role. But, yeah, “Basterds” came to mind almost immediately.
I hoping to get Prime viewing worth my $2.99 a month to avoid commercials…
…given the way ads infest everything online it seems sort of…cute…that we all somehow believed that streaming services would be add free without extra fees
…& given the way you get “encouraged” to bolt sub-services onto a prime account…not-cable is looking a lot like…cable…with a less ads premium on top?
2 more months till fallout…..then i will know if paying for prime was worth it
tho…admittedly reacher was pretty fun…and probably should count for something
….but you know… fanbois gonna fanboi
The estate in Toronto is fab. If you click on the link, Sotheby’s International, which is representing the sellers, reveals that the building was built in 2007, so that’s very :(, and the price is only available upon request. I wonder where in Toronto that is? I kind of understand that Toronto is vast and more like LA than NYC.
Carl Weathers died. He was always fun on the big and little screens.
