        • …there’s another one that I think would be a netflix effort…called goodnight world…it’s…not bad?

          …sort of like that uncle from another world thing but without the funny…the protagonists are all wildly dysfunctional & the main one is the sort of shut-in that only part overlaps with the incel phenomenon but is pretty much all in on the nihilistic bleak outlook…but there’s swords & demons & AI & VR & all the usual checklist items…pretty much kept the skeevy requirement down to mostly one scene of a fairly tame bit of girl-flings-herself-at-object-of-misplaced-affection…who-is-her-boss…or possibly creator…that part isn’t really clear to me…there’s also a single scene in which it seems like she has a bunch of cabling plugged into her but it’s not directly referenced & in a lot of ways the existence of can-pass-for-human level automata à la westworld would undermine how it seems to say the whole set up works…but in any case you might find it entertaining?

    Matthews might win the Rocket Richard trophy for most goals scored this year this year and he’d be the first Leaf to score 50 goals in a season since Rick Vaive, but this isn’t about knowledge or logic. It is about Leafs fans. Auston Matthews’ biggest mistake was that he scored four goals in his first game which means, in Leaf fan world (4×82=328), anything less than 300 goals per season means he is a failure. Don’t believe me? I live near Pearson Airport and I’ll buy you a flight.

  7. I hate when they have surf contests in shitty waves like that.  Wait for a good day or find a better location!  I just ran across a video of my old buddy Raimana teaching a little girl how to surf at the Surf Ranch he now works at when he is not in Tahiti.  He is the coolest dude ever!

  8. Kevin Hart as Roland is not a choice I would have made. He isn’t supposed to be a comic relief character. They have plenty of that already. I’m still going to watch it. Borderlands is one of my favorite video game franchises.
