No, it is Montecito, where all sorts of very wealthy folks escape to, in order to escape the limelight. Oprah, Ellen DeGeneres, who seems to flip a house every two weeks. The privacy-craving Sussexes, who are extremely online and who are constantly on a private jet for no real, explainable reasons.
I have been to Montecito a couple of times (I’ve been to next-door Santa Barbara at least a couple of dozen times) and it truly is “The American Riviera.” It’s uncanny. Once the morning fog burns off you would swear you were on the Mediterranean coast and might be tempted to try your French or Italian on your concierge or barista. Don’t. Instead, prepare yourself for Cali vocal fry, full barreled.
“Sugar artist” sounds like a career choice.

What’s the zero point, though? Is it including the opening credits? I don’t know how long they go, but for some movies credits can chew up a bunch of time.
…that part’s probably easy to figure out if you cue up the first episode of the podcast
…but it might be worth tracking down which print of the movie they use…the DVD release from one pressing to another is probably pretty consistent & not far off whatever you could stream but if it’s a hardcore deal where they pulled actual reels that need swapping in & out you’d almost have to do it manually to achieve an exact sync
…at around a half-hour discussion of a minute’s footage though I can’t imagine you’d need that level of precision?
It does indeed count opening (and eventually, closing) credits. The earlier episodes are really short; they generally just talk about what’s coming, and the closing ones I think are just kind of wrap-ups. I’d never listened to a movie-by-minute podcast before doing this but I’ve discovered there are a LOT of them out there.
Thanks for the info, especially about how they’ve been done for other movies — it’s useful to know how these work.
