As always there is never any good professional preview videos to post except for IndyCar. Apparently MotoGp & F1 don’t need anymore more exposure.

GREENHOUSE!!!!

Animals we can pet

And a place to make stew. That’s kind of gross. Sorry not sorry

How do they make that?
Linen
Memorial Day is soon upon us. Time to dust off the white clothing

Watcha got?
I don’t wear white. It stains too easily.
Halliburton’s screwups in the first game against Boston were awful but they really need him to not be hurt seriously.
The Mavs are the only team with a Serbian on it, so I’m rooting for them in the playoffs. I feel like if they can take 2 from the Timberwolves, they can take 4.
I only wear white underwear after Memorial Day. At least they start out white.
Oh no, Lui. No. Although we have a very strict no white before Memorial Day or after Labor Day policy but we’re not really conscious of it.
Many years ago we threw a party and it was an unseasonably hot day evening in October, I think. I wore this really flattering linen shirt (not white) and one of my guests said, “Linen, Mattie? In October?” “It’s 110° outside.” “I suppose. Where’s the bar?”
…so…I know someone who can’t afford it either but would probably cross some lines they never thought they would to get that place in that particular place…especially if the sellers took a lot of the furnishings with them when they moved out
…so if one of us wins some sort of lottery & an actual plan emerges I can get at least one more buy-in, I reckon?
…movie-wise…lot of time for jean reno…so happy to get some heart-strings tugged…probably a good answer sometime I have to negotiate a cinema trip with multiple generations of family, too…which is handy at least a few times a year
…not sure if the riff on a heist movie (…assuming that’s what that trailer means…could be a different sub-genre, though) is tweaked in ways to dial it in for me but it probably doesn’t dial the other way far enough for me to write it off?
…wasn’t expecting to have more rather than less inclination to give the brats one the time of day after the trailer…but I could see watching it for free at some point & it being more engaging than I’d find a lot of retrospective mutual-appreciation-as-documentary…not really my genre of choice in the non-fiction section, though
…the purple crayon thing…eh…I may yet end up going to the krasinski “if” thing with ryan reynolds so I’m not completely averse to that kind of thing…but…it/they weren’t a particular favorite of mine way back when so I don’t think I’d miss it if I skipped it…& it’s not that they did a bad job…but where the wild things are stands as a reminder that if it is a favorite that doesn’t necessarily help the movie out?
…the last one…I dunno…mostly it just made me remember that there’s a whole season of true detective I haven’t caught up with yet?
Sorry about your Tigres, but mes Jays de Bleu c’est mes Jays de Blew. I’ve kind of thrown my hands up on them and started pretending they don’t exist.
“FUCK SHATKINS!” in other words.
As a White Sox fan, I understand totally.
Oh, they’re not really called Jays de Bleu, are they? Although there are so many mangled, perfectly fine English words and terms that get shoehorned into bizarre francophonisms. The French (the mainland French) are masters of this, so much so that they give lessons to young people translating terms out of “nouveau-francais” and into intelligible and widely understood English. Anything to do with tech, for example. They don’t develop any, so the tech is given English names, but not in the Belle Patrie. They have to make up complicated compound nouns.
Still, it’s a small price to pay.
I love Orcas island! San Juan island is also very special to me. I have kayaked around much of both.
As for b-ball, I am ABC, anyone but Celtics! Although, I hate Kyrie & love Andrew Nembhard so that is not entirely true.
I dislike Irving so much I think I’d prefer Boston. (Now I’m going to find out something terrible about Jaylen Brown and a bunch of kittens, no doubt.)
oh hey thanks…i was actually kinda snoozing on the indy 500…might have missed it if you hadnt said
monacos qualifying tomorow is going to be highly entertaining…but sundays race will most likely be a boring procession….cant pass at monaco…least not with the bigly cars of today
and you know its not nascar….so i probably cant count on half the field crashing either…
and far as motogp goes…ill probably watch it as the weathers pretty crappy here this weekend anyways….but much as i love motogp i only follow it sporadically nowadays…if i watched everything i want to watch i literally would not get any weekend time for outside stuff all summer….decided im not okay with that…. feels too much like being a hardcore footie fan…. i have other things i want to be doing :p
@KeitelBlacksmith you forgot to highlight the dance floor!
