There has been some issue with Cooper’s prosthetic nose and the implication thereof. I haven’t linked to any of the articles but they are not hard to find.

Statement from his children per CNN:

  5. The perpetual outrage machine in cinema is just one reason why I can’t be arsed to go see movies in the theater any more. Or even watch them at home.

     

  6. The “jewface” complaints are really disingenuous to me. Yes if a part involved someone donning prosthetics to look like antisemitic stereotypes, then yes. For example all the original Disney movies old lady villains. But here it seems like it’s just because in real life the dude had a big nose.

    But also Cooper isn’t helping himself with that he was in a play for The Elephant Man and didn’t use prosthetics there. So there is an element of feeling like *why did you need this to play this character.*

    But again, the family is fine with it. So everyone else can shut up.

    I do also think there’s an element of people gonna whine about something. Like if he just was himself, would we hear complaints about how annoying it is when super attractive Hollywood people play normies??

  7. half a day off is what i got….courtesy of the brainiacs in the office who insisted we retool everything to push through a work order despite being repeatedly told physical inspection of stock does not match stock levels in system

    as in we dont have all the fucking parts despite what your computer is telling you

    welp…only so many times we can say uhh…thats not going to work out before we just do as we are told

    so yeah…i just took the rest of the day when we ground to a halt…..gonna be monday before we do anything again…. assuming logistics skeleton crew coz holiday season for everyone with kids can even get all the orders picked that quickly…..not that i care…i took monday off too

     

    other than that all ive got is motogp at the redbullring….motogp is always fun to watch

Any bug people out there know what this is?  Google Image Search came up empty.  It’s at least twice the size of a wasp and I know it’s not a cicada killer because those are at least four times the size of this thing.  There are a shitload of them that have taken over the oriole feeder so the orioles aren’t interested in getting stung to death.
