Missouri finally started allowing no excuse early voting in 2022. This year it started Monday of this week.
There’s 14 locations in St Louis county. I went this morning, over an hour wait. There’s 800k registered voters in my county (not that all would be expected to show up) but so far they’ve already gotten over 75k ballots cast! I believe they’re estimating about 75% registered voter turnout so volume is starting strong.

We have just begun the NBA season but here’s my hot takes. LA Clippers are fucked, Celtics are dominant (and I hate them!), OKC is scary (and I hate them as much as the Celtics!). Lakers fans fears of JJ being a shit coach were unfounded and he seems to know what he is doing after all.
I have been to Rio & as long as you stay on the beach, it is beautiful but go two blocks inland and it is the scariest place you will ever go! Good thing that place has 14acres because you will need some good defenses to keep people out! Where you want to live in Brazil is Florianopolis…

There’s the usual pros and cons of warm climate vs. cold. In Quebec in January there are no bugs or smell, but you have to finish up in two seconds before frostbite hits. In Rio you can take your time but it’s smelly and you have to worry about scorpions.
