Hockey and Basketball just had their drafts and free agency. Nothing earth shattering as far as I can tell. Football is not worth mentioning till the end of August. Baseball just had their all-star game and their trade deadline isn’t till the 1st of next month.

  3. Nick Cage, “Who does he have to kill to get some peace and quiet?”  I think this movie looks like tongue-in-cheek fun! Unrelated rando comment, I was sorry to see that Sandman season two is interrupted by the strike (not a commentary on the righteousness and validity of the strike, just a comment on my television viewing preferences).

    • I guess something called “flosports” won the rights. It’s crazy to me how the networks have to be dragged kicking and screaming into covering things like this. It took them forever to pick up world cup soccer, and it’s been a huge rating success for them when they finally did.

  6. I read that the dude who stabbed Larry Nassar a bunch of times said he did so because the cell block was watching women play at Wimbledon and Nassar said he wished he could watch girls play.

    So anyways, I can’t really be mad at the stabber.
