Hi, friends! Happy Halloween!
Was there a costume you wore as a youth that was the best one you had? Or a really good one you’ve seen as an adult? Or really just a cool one you saw recently?
Last year I had a trick or treater who was dressed as a zookeeper! She had on brown pants and a button down shirt, a hat, and a bunch of stuffed animals in a red wagon she was pulling. It was adorable!
About a decade ago I was like wow why are all these girls dressed so scantily and wearing black wigs? Turns out half the girls in my neighborhood decided to go as Snooki from Jersey Shore that year. That was underwhelming. Also I think they were really cold.
Just came back from a Halloween block party and a woman was dressed as a mushroom with a giant red cap with ribs sewn into the underside.
That’s cool! When you said dressed as a mushroom I was like huh hope she looked like a giant penis until I read the rest of your sentence!
I wear my Dr. Rockzo costume every year because it’s so popular with the ladies.
On the off-chance you’re not familiar with Dr Rockzo:
That “Give him one more” right at the end — *chef’s kiss*.
Those bumps and bulges don’t map well to my understanding of human anatomy.
Just finished with Trick or Treat. We had 116 kids. That’s the least amount we’ve ever had but more than I thought given how cold it was. It snowed at the tail end. There weren’t many dogs this year but we had treats and pup cups for the ones that we did get. No real stand out costumes this year. Last Halloween a girl came dressed as a farmer carrying her pet chicken. I liked that.
Wild guess is we had 100. It was cold so I was glad to turn out the lights and go inside. Everyone seemed in a good mood.
I scared the crap out of my wife when she came home by standing behind the door with a candy bar for her. That was our only trick or treater so far & it is almost 7pm. Now I have to eat a whole bag of Kit Kats?
Yeah you do. How else can you appropriately observe the holiday if you don’t eat those KitKats??
No trick-or-treaters here tonight–i honestly didn’t think we’d have any, either, since there really don’t seem to be any kids living in our building right now–and with us down at least 1/4 of the normal number of residents, thanks to the water damage & construction.
I *do* miss living out in the exurb, on Halloween, because it was fun, getting to see all the kids who would come by, out in my old neighborhoods.
But I’ll have fun tomorrow, too, ‘cuzi’m SURE the 3 and 4 year olds will be *REALLY* excited to tell my co-workers and I alllllllll about their Halloween celebrations!😉😁💖
